» Stephen King Books

Stephen king as written over 60 books and continues to write more. Each book is more scarier then the next. The style of writing is unlike no other. There are horror writers but no one can hold a candle to Stephen King. If you take a look at a lot of his books and movies , it can be hard to fathom that someone can have an idea and mold the idea and create a masterpiece. How many books are there are about killer clowns that only children can see. The book is called IT and if you read any of Stephen King’s books then you need to read this one. It is a Pure Work of art.

Stephen King wrote his first book called People, Places and Things, Volume One in 1960. He began writing books for Doubleday in 1974 and his first book was Carrie. Then almost 2 years or less apart Stephen King’s books started to appear everywhere. Fans could not get enough of his books. In 1975, Salem’s Lot came out. This was a great book about Vampires in a small town. It was very scary, it was one of the best. Then The Shining, Night Shift, The Stand, Dead Zone and Firestarter followed. In 1981, Cujo the killer St, Bernard book came out, followed by Danse Macabre, Creepshow, Dark Tower I which ended up having 4 more sequels.

Then came huge mega hits Christine, Pet Sematary, Cycle of the Werewolf ( the movie version was called Silver Bullet ). IT was a huge best seller and the making of the movie increased the book sales. Misery , Eyes of the Dragon and Dark Tower II all came out in 1987. Stephen King has written some of the greatest books ever and still no one can hold a candle to him. Books like the Dark Half which is a story about an author who writes books under his own name and an alias much like the way he does with writing books as Stephen King and as Richard Bachman.

If you are a true reader and fan of Stephen King you will notice that all of his books except for Eyes of the Dragon are based in Maine. If you know anything about his life then you can see some personal things from King’s life are incorporated into the books. He even uses characters and uses references from other books into his storylines. Look below for a complete list of Stephen King books.
